LEMON ROASTED PANEER

When you have guests coming over unexpectedly or on a short notice, this is one of the recipes which are quick and turn out really well. It’ll turn out to be a fav among the guests and it’ll save you a lot of energy and time.

 

INGREDIENTS (serves 4)

 

Paneer – 1 pkt (cut in rectangular pieces)

Oil -2 tbsp

Thick curd- I cup

Red chilly Powder (Lal Mirch)

Turmeric powder (haldi)

Coriander powder (dhaniya powder)

Salt

Tandoori mix/ chaat masala (if available)

Mango powder (amchoor)

Onions

Lemon

Fresh coriander

 METHOD

 

1.       In a bowl, mix Paneer cubes with curd, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chaat  masala, salt and mango powder paste. Keep aside for 15 mins – 1 hr as per time available.

2.       In the meantime, dice onions and sauté in oil till golden brown.

3.       Take a non stick pan, put  oil and roast the paneer cubes till brown.

4.       Pour lemon juice on top and springle fresh coriander.

5.       Serve hot with onions and green chutney.
